Wide Ironing Board
Bought as a gift for daughter with a BIG husband. She loves it for ironing his shirts!!! A real time-saver! Sturdy and stable!

plastic junk
I ordered this board because it seemed to be just what I needed. Unfortunately, if the description included the information "board constructed of plastic" I missed it. I wondered how a board so much larger than my old standard size ironing board seemed to weigh less. But until I had cut it out of its "packaging" - essentially a very large plastic mailing envelope...

I ordered this board because it seemed to be just what I needed. Unfortunately, if the description included the information "board constructed of plastic" I missed it. I wondered how a board so much larger than my old standard size ironing board seemed to weigh less. But until I had cut it out of its "packaging" - essentially a very large plastic mailing envelope wrapped over with tape, I was not able to see that the board was made of plastic. Save yourself the aggravation of having to buy packaging materials big enough for this ironing board so you can return it, and buy the cheapie walmart version. The quality is poor, but at least it's made of some type of metal.
