Household Essentials 6782 Double X-Frame Hamper with Natural Canvas Bag & Lid

I was looking for a wooden X-frame laundry hamper like one I had previously purchased at Bed Bath and Beyond. The picture looks very similar, but the details are very different. First, this requires assembly - the frame is in pieces. The bars that extend past the X are actually screw-on wooden caps - and the color doesn't match exactly. the edges are squared off - not a nicer rounded look. The hamper stops several inches off the floor - which looks strange. The bag is also darker flecked then it looks in the picture - a bit grayish.

One of the bars to the frame had a broken screw, so I could not get the end cap on. I called the company and they said they would send a new one out. I haven't seen it yet (about 5 days), but they seemed helpful.

The product is functional - it just doesn't look as nice as what I was looking for.

The hamper was a bit flimsy and not was the picture showed. There are two canvas bags but they need to be velcroed to the top and bottom of the wooded stand. The bags are durable but do not hold very many clothes before they start to fall all over the floor.

This item came on time and as advertised. My only complaint is that the instructions did not tell you how to assemble, just told you what each piece was. Once I figured that out from the cover picture I assembled the other ones quickly.

This hamper is great for the price. It has the double compartments and does what it needs to do. I wasn't over impressed, but I am happy with the purchase.

This isn't just a complaint about quality. Had I known what I was getting I would not have ordered. The bags are some kind of flimsy plastic stuff. NOT cotton canvas. I'm returning the thing. I don't like being lied to, so even though I wanted this thing and might have even caved and bought it with the plastic bags, I won't, on principle give money to people who lie to me.

The frames are OK. Kinda flimsy, but still real wood at least. A little rough, as there is no finish on it. But yeah, not canvas.

The bags are not canvas as described by "Natural Canvas Bag". The material is a plastic type material. This is definitely a cheap feeling material and makes lots of sounds. This also looks significantly different than the photo, but that is obvious because the material in the photo looks completely different

i would not purchase this product. 1. too difficult to assemble 2. it is NOT canvas 3. flimsy 4. 4 screws at the top do not screw on correctly 5. not easy to remove bag to take to washer, must remove clothing and transfer to a basket

other than that, it's fine

This compact, tidy, and easily removable laundry basket for two is a great space-saver in a small apartment. Fabulous buy.

This is very sturdy and I love that is is washable. The directions are a little difficult but since it is pretty simplistic it just takes a little trial and error.

I've been using this hamper for about month so far and I am so happy that I purchased it. It is easy to put together, fits nicely in my laundry room, and has helped me tremendously in organizing my dirty laundry.
