This stowaway portable wall mount clothing dryer from Whitney Design offers energy saving clothing drying space. Dry clothes the natural way with this clothing drying rack. It features wall mount bracket setup that allows the rack to be moved from one space to another if desired. Simply mount the wall bracket that comes with the unit to the wall and slide the drying rack into the bracket. The vinyl clothesline provides 57 feet of drying space in 5 sections with seven lines each and is pre-strung and ready for immediate use. It's a little flimsier than I expected, but still reasonable.
The drying lines are a bit too closed to each other, so drying time is a little more than I expected.
I knocked one star off not just for these 'a little' aspects, but also because of a misleading installation instruction.
This unit is designed to be removable. There is a 'base', a metal plate, to install on the chosen vertical surface. And the unit then slides in and out of it from the top.
The instruction, with drawings, clearly describes that if you install the bottom of the base to be 78" from the ground, then the final attached product will be at a reasonable 52" high, implying that the unfolding process will drop the 'hands' down by about 26".
I reality, this drop is only about 2-3", about 2-foot less than described! So, to have the final drying lines at 52" high, the base should only be installed about 55" high, from bottom, instead.
Try your unit out, fully erected, to double check this before installing. And remember that you need a 13-15" clearance above the base so that the unit can slide in and out at.
All in all, it's still a pretty good product. I recommend it.

I purchased this b/c we didn't have alot of room in our back yard for a clothesline. I love to line dry my clothes. They get whiter whites and smell great. This does the job. It is slightly small for the large loads I do, but for the most part, it suited my need. I hope it holds up for the winter. It comes with a cover, and you can remove the entire unit from its base for the winter, so that is good.
