Carol Myers' treatment of ancient Israelite domestic, mainly female religion in Households and Holiness suffers from too much compression of its subject matter. Myers meant this to be a short treatment, but it is entirely too short to do justice to the wealth of ideas present. Myers meant this to be a short treatment, but it is entirely too short to do justice to the wealth of ideas present.
