This book carefully archives Houston's visual history over the decades, and will give you hours of fun if you like trying to figure out what you are seeing in this book, compared to what is still standing today, etc.. It's a wonderful publication to keep as a reference book. I look forward to more books from SJS3, because I know he has more photos to share!

Born and raised in Houston, Texas and it was nice to read up a little history from Houston. This is great reading for those days where time is available to just do that - reading.

This is the second one of these books that I have gotten. The first one was for the town that I grew up in (In California). Now, this one is for Houston. I am going to give this as a gift at Christmas & I know that my brother-in-law is going to love it. I had a lot of fun reading it myself.
