FUN toy!
My son loves air hockey but we just don't have the floor space to give up, even for one of those little mini home ones. We opted for this set instead and have been having a blast with it. We clear floor or table space, set up barriers, traps, goals, etc. THe little goals they give you are kind of useless, they're too lightweight and move if you brush into...

Good but needs help
As I suspected the boundaries that you set up for the air hockey are both weak and small. However the hovercraft puck and hand pieces are great. So we play with them on the hardwood floor and also made our own legless (on the floor) table with goals out of scrap wood. I think we got 90% of the experience (AFTER making the table) for maybe 20% of the cost of getting a...

My cousin got this as his Xmas gift in 09. It broke within two weeks. There was no changing the batteries, no taking it apart and putting something back in place, it just went dead.
