This collaboration between Eugene Wilde and George Duke is simply magic. I'm not surprised this album is rare - you have to be a music connoissuer to enjoy it. Listen to the quiet storm version of the title track, and the track Whenever Your're Ready, and you will know what I mean. If you enjoy R&B from the early nineties, this belongs in your collection - no doubt.

Perhaps because he was (more often than not) given truly mediocre material Eugene Wilde was unable to realize his full potential as a vocalist. While not in the same league as Peabo Bryson, Luther Vandross or Freddie Jackson Eugene was a fine and able soul balladeer who could sound quite convincing when given the right material. "Special Feelings", "You Are So Beautiful", "Whenever You're Ready" and the ultra-sexy title track were this CD's best songs.

I've like Eugene from way back. I feel that he could have been as big as Luther, Freddie and Peabo, if he had there advertising. he made alot of good music, he just wasn't known. He has a best of album, with Gotta get you home with me tonight and Don't say no tonight just to name a few. the man was bad!! Just before his time I guess. If he did another album, I would definantly buy it!!! Hint Hint!!!
