This book is fun, entertaining, and informative. I saw an aspect of athletes lives very seldom talked about, but happens to be very entertaining. The stories they shared were fun, exciting, and sometimes heartening. Hearing from athletes like Dan Jansen, Too Tall Jones, and Bill Goldberg share stories from their first car, advice from their dads, and crazy memories lets us know that these athletes are regular people too. Awesome!

As a self proclaimed non-reader, I thought this book was an interesting read. I think the concept was very original. I thought the writing was good and that the interview style worked very well with this type of material. It was as if you were sitting in on a live interview with them.
It was cool to see the differences between all of the athletes, from the ones driving eco-friendly vehicles to others driving "normal" SUV's. It was a little refreshing to find out that not all of the celebrities are infatuated with having the biggest, baddest, loudest, most expensive, etc. Great to see that they are just people too.

The book was very interesting.
I was cool to see what some of the athletes were really about. I was intrigued by the fact that not all of them were part of the "bling-bling" mentality and had to drive automobiles. It was refreshing to see that some of them were just down to earth folks that drive SUV's, green cars, etc.
I thought the book was very well put together and made for an interesting read. As someone who admits they do not read a lot, I did enjoy this book. I liked the interview style writing and format. It made it easy for me to read, take a break if needed and get back to it when I got a chance.
I think if you're a sports fan or a grease monkey you should take a look at this.

See it in person before you waste your money.
Lousy interviewing, small photos, and poor selection doom this from the start. Even ghost writer couldn't save the book since I imagine he didn't get much to work with. Read more

BEAUTIFUL BOOK
This is a great book! It is written in an interview style. You feel as if you are there with the author and the athlete. Very well done.
