The Book "How To Atract a R.E.A.L Man, is an excellent read. Although short, it is packed full of informative, thought-provoking realisms. In today's world, where we hear so many women, (young and older) complaining that they cannot find a R.E.A.L. man, I think that Bey Bright gives women some straight talk.

Women's lib, notwithstanding, and I am all for equal rights in pay for women, the opportunity to obtain excellent jobs and the the right to voice their opinions. I know that there are a lot of lonely, lonely women all over the country and Bey Bright tells us what we may not want to hear, but what we should listen to. I think that he says very honestly what so many men would like to say and don't. Let's face it, women are losing the game. Men are beginning to treat women like men or either they don't want to be bothered with women after the fun is over. (If you know what I mean.)

Women may not like what he has to say but maybe if they took a few pages out of Mr. Bright's book, those who are looking for a R.E.A.L man would find one and keep him. This book could lead many men and women into a win-win situation.

The book is well-written but far too short. The points Mr. Bright made were valid but few. As an educated, professional black woman nearing 40, much of the information was common sense to me, but maybe not so much for the twenty-somethings. Nevertheless, I can't help but feel somewhat cheated. The book isn't 100 pages long and the last 20+ pages contains suggested reading and DVD viewing along with lists of people whom Mr. Bright perceives to be R.E.A.L. men and women in pop culture. I'm sorry I paid almost $15 for an 85-page book I read inside of an hour that was half-full of instructions for me to review other's work.

Mr. Bright completely ignored the question every woman who reads this book will inevitably ask: "WHERE ARE THE `R.E.A.L.' MEN?"

It is most unfortunate that this book is lacking additional content because I thoroughly enjoyed the writing. Mr. Bright takes a direct, no-nonsense approach to sensitive topics that, no doubt, will offend some women. The book does, however, provide valuable insight for younger women who are not yet so career oriented and not so familiar with the male psyche.
