Finally a self-help book targeted directly for the Hip Hop generation. Although, I found the book both insightful and motivational, the language is what really impressed me. The author relayed the fourteen principles for success in the game of life in a voice that was both "street" and smart. He also hammered home his points with examples from the lives of people that ranged from preachers to pimps. Lessons on focus, attitude, confidence and overcoming fear and adversity were covered using people like Vanassa Williams, Master P and Muhammad Ali.This is not your average self-help book rehashed. This book is about keeping it real. I recommend parents reading it and passing it on to your kids. That is what I did but, be careful the may not be for kids too young and the length will leave you hungry for more.
