"violent behavior"?!? -- puh-leeze!,
By A Customer
This review is from: How to Be a Way Cool Grandfather (Paperback)
Kids are going to make slingshots and arrows on their own, no matter what the PC, New Age types out there think. Better to have Granddad there to supervise and make sure they understand the danger, however slight. This is a neat, useful book -- wish my grandfather had had a copy.

Delightful guide on how to make 30 inexpensive toys that grandfathers *ought* to know how to make! Slingshots, stilts, kites, etc. -- complete building instructions, plus helpful tips on teaching moral lessons to kids while making and playing with the toys. Great Father's Day gift

This review is from: How to Be a Way Cool Grandfather (Paperback)
The person who thought that this book promotes violent behavior is a clueless ignoramus. The book helps grandparents and kids bond with all kinds of wonderful activities, including --gasp! slingshots and other such toys! I love to see that, in this day where wimpiness is the fashion, some people are courageous enough to buck the politically correct trend. Some people say violence never solved anything; I suggest they ask the city fathers of Carthage if that's true. Wonderful book.
