This little book would be an excellent gift for a new father. The introduction is especially poignant, and the creative ideas will add zest to any father-daughter relationship. (Bookstore Journal, June 1993)

This is a splendid book to give a young father or the father of your little granddaughters. Each of these 365 thoughts is a treasure. -- Velma Daniels, News Chief, July 11, 1993

I have had this book for several years and my 3 daughters have loved it. I went on a date recently with my nine year old daugther based on one of the ideas. We had a blast. I recommend it.

I purchased this book in hopes that my daughters Dad would finally "GET IT"!!! the book was a great idea for Fathers Day.This was an excellent book for first time dads who don't have a clue and believe it's up to the mom to raise a well rounded child. I read through the book before wrapping it and wrote down ideas for myself, to encourage self esteem for our daughter.

I love this book! I hope that if I ever have a daughter and if she has a father, that he will consider most of the suggestions in this book.
For those who feel unsure about it because of the religious crap that has been discussed in the reviews, I say, don't worry about it. I didn't even notice a religious cast until I read the reviews; then I said to myself "I guess you could see it that way".The author's religious views are clearly not the point. The author is also very big on exploring a variety of religions, which is just a part of learning about the world.

I got this book and didn't know what to expect but when I started reading it I got a lot of great ideas from it. I would recommend this to any father. I was expecting an actual book but it's more of a numbered sequence of ideas that was unexpected but it was actually great!!! My daughter and I have already done a few of the things the author mentions but there are so many ideas in here that you can do with your daughter or even your son for that matter. Highly recommended!
