Inspirational
I have found this book to be extremely good. I am an advanced beader and the book is definately not for those starting out. I have copied some things exactly but for the most part I have used it as inspiration to develop patterns myself. It is a worthy tool in my beading library.

WARNING
If you're a beginner, this book will confuse you. The step by step instructions are incomprehensible and the illustations were drawn by a drunk chicken! If you have any minimal experience in beading, this book will shock you!

This book is probably the one for those who never played with beads before. However, if you are enthusiastic and looking for some inspiration or information to explore further the world of bead embroidery, there are so many other books that satisfy you, but not this.

I read this book as a beginner, and found it inspirational. The techniques are good basics and a good grounding for design.
I managed to work some of the patterns from scratch, as a raw beginner, and they worked out well. It certainly inspired me to go and do a course. I wouldn't call it a complete beading course, but so pretty! |
