How to do Bead Work,
By
This review is from: How to Do Bead Work (Paperback)
This was my first ever book about beading. It deals mostly with seed beads, from stringing them on a string, weaving both on and off loom, working on canvas, and even making little bead purses. However, pictures of finished projects are few and far between, in black and white, and on the small side. The written instructions are very detailed and easy to follow which is great because each step is not illustrated. I have gotten a lot of use out of this book especially in the weaving sections as there are several patterns I enjoyed making and also they have inspired me to create my own.

How to do Beadwork,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: How to do beadwork (Paperback)
I purchased this book directly from Amazon.com and based the purchase on its reviews. I was totally disappointed. This book is a reprint from a University of Michigan Library. It was written in 1908 and the information is totally outdated. Do not waste your money on this book.

Excellent reprint...,

This is a reprint from the early 1900's and while some of the termonology is antiquated the ideas and techniques are timeless. A valuable addition to any beader's library, I highly recommend this little volume to any beader who feels they are another bead in an endless necklace from the beginning of time to forever.
