I am a serious student of the martial arts. I have studied a variety of deadly fighting styles on two continents. But after reading this book I realized my skills were akin to those of a drooling toddler attempting Tai Chi. Fortunately, Judah's instructions make everything crystal clear when it comes to using the magnificent gift that is the human body to maim and destroy people you don't like.
Five out of five stars. Martial Arts has a new name, and its initials are Judah Friedlander.
Immediately after reading the first sentence, my diarrhea was cured.
The rest of my movement was as firm as a day old baguette and as odorless as a bottle of water.
THANK YOU JUDAH!!!!!!!
Plus Judah teaches you to eat like a world champion, an extra large pizza, a jar of mayonnaise, pour it on tuna, add some kielbasy and some pigeon and mix it all together with your hands of steel and you get the perfect land, sea and air protein meal.
So whether you want to learn a soaring sandal stomp, a surprise 2 man aerial attack, a butt bomb, or to deliver some elevated street justice (firm thighs required, you will find enough irreverent humor in this book with about a half dozen crazy photos and instructions on each page. Pure fun!
I just want to set the expectations properly. There is no narrative here. This is not a tradtional book. It's page after relentless page of pictures and captions of Judah telling you he has supernatural karate powers and routinely murders opponents in all sorts of odd scenarios.
Also, the level of writing is consistent with the "How to beat up anybody" title.
Basically, once you've seen the title and saw the picture, you've got the joke. It does not change. It does not break character. There is no more to it than that.
I give this a very low review because I expected an actual book, rather than one tediously repeated ironic gag.
