This book is worthless. First off, there are far better resources for learning information security than this thin paperback sheath of lies. In fact, even the guy who wrote it knows this. That is why he plagiarizes. Do a quick google search for "gregory evans ligatt plagiarism" and look at the attrition link. You will see that this individual has a background simply taking content from other places (in this case, the CEH Prep Guide) and rebranding it as his own without adding value. Want to learn to be a hacker? Buy the book that this author stole from. The CEH Prep Guide: The Comprehensive Guide to Certified Ethical Hacking Join a local hacker group and/or find a local hackerspace and learn from your neighbors. Attend a security event like Defcon, Shmoo, or B-Sides. Don't give this poseur any of your money.

This man and his "company" are smearing mud all over the security world. There are plenty of better things to spend your money on than this book if you genuinely care about learning security the right way. Take the money you planned to use for this book and give it to the Salvation Army. They need it more than this fraud does.

This guy is a complete idiot. Please do not give him your hard earned money when there are so many worthwhile resources out there.
