“And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and yet it did not fall, for it had been founded on the rock.”
—Matthew 7:25, MSG
Life has its inevitable storms. While we all secretly hope for the fairy-tale “happily ever after,” we instinctively dread the storm that can destroy all our dreams . . . or at the very least, leave us with overwhelming grief and despair.
Preparing and shielding yourself from storms is half the battle. Facing them unprepared can have disastrous results. Packed with Scripture, real-life examples, and stories of the author’s own journey through life’s downpours, How Big Is Your Umbrella? helps equip us to weather all sorts of storms successfully.
Sheila Wray Gregoire is a syndicated parenting newspaper columnist whose passion is pointing people to the One who can restore broken hearts and broken relationships. She and her husband, Keith, “tag-team” homeschool their kids. She also writes for national magazines and speaks across the country, combining the realities of a family with Scripture for real-world, real-biblical answers.

This book touched me in many ways. Gregoire has an amazing talent at reaching those who are disconnected and weary in their faith. I loved this book, in fact I am now buying copies of it to give to some of my friends.

Sheila gets right to the heart of the matter!,

This small book is packed with godly wisdom. Sheila gets right to the point. If you have suffered any kind of loss, or ever found yourself questioning God this book is for you. It is quick to read, but the rewards of doing so will be far-reaching. It is a tiny book worth it's weight in gold.
