This book is brief, superbly organized and well written. I like that the author got right to the point on each instructional issue, and didn't waste the readers time with a lot of superfluous, repetitive info. The author obviously cares about women, and in my opinion, this is the best book I've read on the subject of personal security for women.
After reading this wonderful book, I bought copies for my Mother in Law, Mother, sister and friends (recommending that they share the book with their daughters and friends). For every crime of assault committed, 99% of the time the victim has in some way or another unintentionally chosen a behavior (such as parking in an isolated area of a parking lot instead of driving to park in a safer location) that has signaled her vulnerability to a predator. Reading this book has dramatically improved the way I operate in my daily life. After taking 6 years of martial arts training, reading this book has rounded out my overall personal protection strategy perfectly. I highly recommend it - especially as a gift for every girl and woman!
