2.0 out of 5 stars How To Build A Multi-Level Money Machine
I would say that this is a good book if you are one of the thousands of networkers who join a company with alot of representatives and monthly meetings in your area, because, the book promotes going to "Meetings" along with doing lots of smaller in-home presentations. --I thought that it didn't have enough prospecting info for my taste, and way too little...

5.0 out of 5 stars The best "how to" book ever written!, April 24, 1999
If Network Marketing is something that interests you or any one you know, this book is a must. Whether networking has just recently caught your eye or you have been involved with this industry and have failed or succeeded, this book is a must. If you believe in learning from mistakes, let Randy Gage make them for you. His knowledge of what works and what doesn't in network marketing is among the finest and most accurate in my opinion. Network marketing is something that I was skeptical about, just like 99% of all people are. After reading this book, I jumped into the networking ocean, used Gage as my swin fins, and caught a wave comparable to the North Shore Pipeline. Every chapter, paragraph, sentence, word had me nodding my head to all of the possiblities network marketing has put out there for ordinary non-sales type people. And I feel great to have found a company that seems in compliance with all of Gage's techniques that made him the multi-millionaire that he is today. Discover the power of duplication and whether the company you are with or are about to choose is subject to intense government regulations. Dispose of your friends thoughts, "Is that some kind of pyramid scheme?" See how 10- 13 hours a week now can give 24 hours of free time a day in 3-4 years. Read this book if you have any type of interest in network marketing.

5.0 out of 5 stars Gage understands what it takes to succeed in MLM, August 18, 2000
By
If you are in multi-level marketing (MLM), you probably already know about Randy Gage. He has analyzed, through firsthand experience, the factors necessary to be a success in what I predict is the business of the future, and they aren't necessarily what you might guess. Do you try to sell product first and only then recruit distributors? Randy says that's the wrong approach. Do you look for "natural" salesmen to put in your downline? Randy says don't do it! Surprising? Randy Gage understands the nature of the business and what it takes to succeed in it: self-replication. I don't know anyone writing about MLM who understands this better than Randy.

5.0 out of 5 stars A stunningly good book!, March 7, 1999
By A Customer
I don't like ostentatious covers; so I had to take this one off, and have the silver-on-black spine urge me to the reading process. And then the unexpected: page after page of excitement! One doesn't expect good-sense and focus in business-types; this book has it all, plus a wealth of incalculably astute advice: if you can't make it big in NM after reading this, perhaps opt for miserly retirement now: Gage shows that NM is much more than optimal life-style: it is about making this earthly round, to speak with Pater, burn with that hard, gem-like flame!

An indispensable book not only for NM, but for self-realization!

5.0 out of 5 stars Probably the best trainer in the business....., July 8, 2004
I first met Randy Gage back in 1991 in Orlando at a seminar that he was conducting on International Drive along with Don Faila. The man is very elequent to be sure, a great public speaker but also knows this business inside and out. And he has the best tools.

I began listening to Randy's tape "Secrets of a Dynamic Day" over and over. This wasn't a hype you up, rah-rah tape, it discussed the necessities of building your business. Randy suggested listening to it first thing in the morning. I listened to it twice per day.

Randy also had a tape called "Escape The Rat Race", a generic tape that we would hand out to prospects. It was all about downsizing that had escalated at that time and it was the best prospecting tool that I had used.

I listened to Randy's tape set over and over. This guy is a real nut's and bolts sort of guy. He tells you what to do and what not to do. Having just left a herbal nutrition company that had collapsed combined with some real bad training by the company founder, I was eager to find something that worked. Randy's advice did and still does work.

How To Build a Multi Level Money Machine is Randy's best work to date. You will learn the science of netowrk marketing, what works and what doesn't work. You will also learn some of the schemes and scams perpetrated by mlm'ers. You will learn how to pick the right company and which companies to avoid.

I highly recommend How To Build a Multi Level Money Machine. In addition, I also recommend the WAVE 4 books by Richard Poe. And I recommend anything you can get your hands on by Randy Gage.

Mr Gage has cleared defined the new standard for Network Marketing. This book cuts straight to the bone and it banishes all of the "rah-rah" and "hype" of past practitioners to the graveyard of obsolescence. The strategies and methodologies that Mr Gage teaches are insightful and practical. No matter what your affiliation is to Network Marketing, make this book a part of your self-education programme.

5.0 out of 5 stars The best how to book in Network Marketing industry, August 27, 1998
By A Customer
I've been in network marketing five years and I want to say to anyone considering this industry this is the best book I've read to date. The information is well laid out and to the point. Anyone who wishes to succeed in network marketing owes it to themselves and their downline to read this book. But, more importantly you need to put the information to good use. I firmly believe had my sponsor taught me half of the information in this book I would be much further along with my busines building efforts. I believe in the network marketing concept and I will use this book and the information in it to build my organization. Thanks Randy you've given me the finally pieces I needed to take my business to the top. P. Miller

If you can only buy one book to get started in Network Marketing, this is the one! I have struggled for almost two years (and I already have three successful "regular" businesses) before I stumbled across this book. It has been worth every penny -- multiple times!!
