The Most Complete and Educational Book On Pet Birds, September 13, 1996
By A Customer
This review is from: How to Care for Your Pet Bird: Practical Advice by Dr. Murphy (Hardcover)
This is the most educational book I have ever read on the
care and breeding of psittacine birds (parakeets, cockatiels,
macaws etc.). I have heard Dr. Murphy many times in lectures
and have always been impressed, but this book gives a pet bird
owner so much practical advice in such a easy to read format ..
it would take 100 hours of lectures to cover. If you have
a pet bird or an experienced bird person ie. breeder,
pet store owner or hobbyist this is a must have.

How to Care for You Pet Bird: Practical Advice by Dr. Murph, January 19, 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: How to Care for Your Pet Bird: Practical Advice by Dr. Murphy (Hardcover)
The book is great. Dr. Joel Murphy and his wife are my birds' vet. I have learned a great deal about the needs of my birds and how to deal with their personalities as well. It has taught me much about the care of my "babies" and I have used it numerous times for specific situations regarding my birds. Any one who truly cares about their pet birds should own a copy of this wonderful source of information.
