5.0 out of 5 stars Dave Hunts most passionate work on the Christ return
The Majority of Dave Hunt's book deal with factual information. He places many documented information, usualy written by those who, contrary to the truth of God, pervert the gospel of the Lord, by following men rather than God. His arguments usualy are left for the reader to deside. The strong emphasis on "truth" is evident throughout his books.

JESUS SAYS, "My sheep listen to my voice." (John 10:27).

DAVE HUNT DOES NOT LISTEN TO JESUS' VOICE.

EXAMPLE:

JESUS SAYS: "Everyone who looks to the Son and believes in Him shall have eternal life and I will raise him up at the last day." (John 6:40).

5.0 out of 5 stars Dave Hunts most passionate work on the Christ return, February 15, 1999
This review is from: How Close Are We? (Paperback)

In this book however, there is an added bonus which is on a more personal and passionate level. Its written from the heart to those who seek Christ for who He is rather than what He can give . He covers with much clarity the teaching that is not clearly taught in most churches; The Lord's iminent return for His church(Pre-Trib Rapture)his beloved Bride. He leads the reader through many passages in the scripture, continualy focusing on the Lord and reminding the true-believers the importance "the blessed hope" of Christ iminent return that believers should have and the importance of Holy living in light of it.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Thorough and Thoughful Treatment of the Rapture and the Second Coming, October 22, 2007
This review is from: How Close Are We? (Paperback)
I know this book was first published in 1993, but I only just read it for the first time. I found Dave Hunt's writing on the subject to be Biblical and insightful. In dealing--in detail--with the subject of the Rapture and the Second Coming of Christ, He gave me much to chew on. As a student of Bible Prophecy and the author of "Redemption: Bible Prophecy Simplified," I appreciated his thorough and thoughtful treatment of the subject.

5.0 out of 5 stars "Where are We Now", March 30, 2010
This review is from: How Close Are We? (Paperback)
This book arrived in mint condition.
The book itself, by Dave Hunt, is an exceptional book.
He gets it right.
All the answers are there about the end times.
I highly recommend this book to every Christian to read.
Also those in question about Christianity, this will help.

1.0 out of 5 stars DAVE HUNT DOES NOT BELIEVE JESUS SO WHY BELIEVE HUNT?, March 15, 2006
A Kid's Review
This review is from: How Close Are We? (Paperback)

"At the last day" - not 7 or 1007 years before the last day as Hunt believes.

JESUS SAYS: "There is a judge for the one who rejects me and does not accept my words. That very word which I spoke will condemn him at the last day." (John 12:48)

Hunt needs to accept the very words of Jesus Christ when He says "at the last day."

JESUS SAYS: "The hour is coming when all who are in the graves will hear my voice and come out. Those who have done good will rise to live and those who have done evil will rise to be condemned." (John 5:28-29)

Hunt changes the words of Jesus Christ and tries to insert 1000 or 1007 years between Jesus' call and ignores the word "all". (See also John 11:24)

See 2 Peter 3:10-13 for a description of the last day. The rest of the Bible agrees with Jesus Christ not Dave Hunt.

So why listen to Dave Hunt in anything he writes when he can't understand the meaning of the words "at the last day" from the lips of Jesus Christ Himself?

HUNT DOES NOT BELIEVE JESUS CHRIST.

MIKE
