5.0 out of 5 stars A 'must have' book for those dealing with dementia, October 31, 2009
This review is from: How To Communicate With Alzheimer's: A Practical Guide And Workbook For Families (Spiral-bound)
I Hope They Know. The Essential Handbook on Alzheimer's Disease and Care
A wonderful book. It is very easy to use and has more than what the cover suggests - lots of other information that will guide a family member through the particulars of 'connecting', not only communicating with a loved one with. Communication is a human bond, when broken by Alzheimer's, the loss can break the spirit. Susan's book gives us hope and skills to keep the bond intact. As a physician and author of two books on Alzheimer's care giving, I think it is another ` must have'. Zoë Ann Lewis, M.D., FACP, Author of `I Hope They Know: The Essential Handbook on Alzheimer's Disease and Care and and `Espero que sepan: La guía holística para la enfermedad de Alzheimer'.
