Editorial Reviews

Review

"The questionnaire design section contains many examples of how not to word questions. . . . The section on scaling is also useful and evaluators in education especially will find the summary of benefit. There is also a good section on types of evaluative research designs that might use surveys. Longitudinal surveys and normative designs are summarized concisely and clearly."

Fairly easy to follow and helpful for the novice survey designer. I bought for a class and will likely keep it after the class is over because it could come in handy.

I purchased this text as an added resource to preparing for my doctoral diss. proposal. The easy to read and follow format facilitated the survey aspects of the research. I would recommend this book as an addendum to anyone seeking additional ideas on conducting survey research. It's a quick and easy to use guide that can be used in scholarly research.
