Book Description

PRAISE FOR HOW TO COOK FOR DIABETIC – INCREDIBLE RECIPES FOR DIABETICS:

“With so many friends and family that are diabetics this is a great addition to my collection of recipes. Thanks for providing all the nutritional information so I can provide diabetic friendly dishes.”

“As a diabetic I am often disappointed with the new recipes that are introduced for diabetics; however this kindle book was a pleasant surprise! The book contains many quick easy to create recipes that are tasty and creative. One of my favorites is called Awesome Red Pepper Hummus Dip, and yes it was awesome with my recent friends over on the deck. I also liked the fact that it includes all the nutritional information on every recipe, often times that’s left out. The format is easy to read on my kindle and I had no trouble following the directions on the recipes. Great Job!”

“How to Cook For a Diabetic eBook offers a huge “easy to make” variety of foods that's healthy and tasty for everyone, not just the diabetic. The ingredients used can be found in most kitchens, unlike many specialty cook books I've bought. Great book!”

I downloaded this book because it was recommended to me and I have to say, that it is just the short, sharp easy to read and understand ebook that I was looking for. My ex-partner is a diabetic and now with the ease of downloading via kindle, I can still help him to combat his insatiable desire for tasty foods with foods that taste good plus are good for him.

What I found so useful to me is that this book can be shared via Amazon kindle free Ap for PC between Australia and Canada with ease.

The other thing that I found useful was the way in which the recipes are laid out with ingredients that can be found across the world. So often in the past I have found nice-sounding recipes but haven't been able to decipher the ingredients as we call things by different names. I didn't have any trouble in knowing what these ingredients were. Bell Peppers for example, we call green capsicums where I come from.

Anyway, I see in the comments that apparently some of these recipes can be found (without proper attribution) on other sites around the net. Copy and pasting someone else's work is ethically wrong...there's simply no two-ways about that.

But this book is helpful to me on several levels and I'm very glad to have it. And let's face it...the free-price can't be beat :-)

5.0 out of 5 stars Very informative--good recipes. January 27, 2013

I have a son with Type I Juvenile Diabetes. This book was very informative, however it reads a bit like a medical professional. I have found that parents and elderly family members some times need the diabetes for dummies version. Since we have spent a great deal of time investigating diabetes and living with it, I knew what the author was referring to. I like the information about diabetes and the myths explained prior to the recipes. I found this book helpful and would recommend it to others.
