4.0 out of 5 stars lovely..
I bought this book because I am a fan of Dr. Keith Ablow. The book is up to date. It definitely did not make me feel 'yucky' like a lot of those depression books can. But, I think that I was waiting for something new and exciting. More of a reading book with case studies.

2.0 out of 5 stars Only useful if you don't know anything about depression
Considering that this book came out 12 years ago, most of the information in here is dated and/or stuff most people already know. For instance a lot of information and emphasis on SSRIs. SSRIs include Paxil, Prozac and Zoloft, which have black box warnings and/or negative press as of late. The book seems wordy without offering much info that you couldn't find in general...
