of evil psychopaths that have eluded my years of study. Having read

Has helped me to understand some of what has been done, to me, by people who 'loved' me. Good to read attentively, to gain understanding and possibly detection ability. Gives some info on driving a narcissist nuts. Also warns against doing that. Really, don't. Just get away, if you can. Never turn back. Does give some info, on dealing with one from whom you may not be able to run away. Like your boss or coworker.

Wow! This book is loaded with unique information and insight. I have read nearly every book written on Narcissism in order to help myself manage, end, leave, and recover from a 15-year marriage to a Covert, Malignant Narcissist. First, let me state that I am a liberal, and although some comments in the book were a bit offensive to me as a liberal, I recognize the author's insight comes from the narcissism he experienced in his life. The fact that he identifies liberals as narcissists is NO REASON TO DISREGARD the vast amount of in-depth, unique, useful, and deeply informative insight he shares with his reader. The political commentary is quite limited and is either easily overlooked, or easily understood as a reflection of the reality in which narcissism impacted his life. There are so many books that tell you what narcissism is, how to identify it, and even a few with tips on what to do about it when it impacts you through one of your relationships. But there is nothing on the market with this type of insight. Primarily, the book informs you how to impact a narcissist precisely the way they impact you. It's likely the greatest exposé on Narcissistic ABUSE that has ever been written and it should be part of every psychologists education. Each technique, or method of attack and response offered is offered because it's WHAT N's DO to you! He explains exactly what every victim of a narcissist has experienced but is often entirely incapable of explaining to others. Inside his descriptions you see why an N would do it, why and how it messed you up so much, and why and how dishing it back to an N would be even more painful and devastating to them. He doesn't recommend that you go on the attack, however. In fact, his end advice is in alignment with all experts, and that is run.Read more ›
