Book Description

One of the luxuries of modern life is the ability to step back from the chaos and try to improve our quality of life. Sometimes this is spiritual; we learn to meditate, start going to church, or read books about spirituality. In some instances, we want to be physically healthier so we eat more fresh vegetables and start exercising.

We also improve our life quality when we enhance our home space. For a long time, we thought the best way to enjoy our space more was to add to it. The latest knick-knack was put on the shelf or a room was re-painted to reflect modern trends. That's the mentality that brings us here: to a time when people are looking not to add to a room or house or apartment, but to take away from it in the attempt to make an enjoyable environment.

Once you have simplified your home, once you have decluttered, you will find a space that feels as though you breathe easier. In some ways this is logical; there is less to clean or trip over. But an uncluttered space also, somewhat mysteriously, impacts our mood. It gives us a feeling of serenity and peace.

We hope you find that serenity once you have made your house a sanctuary by removing unwanted clutter from your life. In the pages of this book you will find tips, systems, and methods to help you declutter your home, helping you find that sense of peace.

5.0 out of 5 stars Didn't realize I even needed this book! October 2, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
I'm a little embarrased to admit it, but I needed this book and I don't even have kids! It's full of easy to implement, daily strategies to add to your routine to keep clutter under control. I am now able to maintain my home at a presentable, decluttered level, enough so that there is just minimal touch up when company is coming! How cool is that? Thanks for all the tips!

5.0 out of 5 stars Very useful advice on keep your house decluttered! September 18, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
This e-book is a great quick read in decluttering your "stuff". I don't have kids quite yet, but I have friends with kids and I'm personally concerned about the amount of objects that come with a child (from well-meaning family members) when I live in a very small space. This book gives useful tips on how to declutter and how to explain your goal to your child without causing a lot of drama.

Great tips and ideas that are easy to put into place.

Completely worth a couple of bucks!!

2.0 out of 5 stars Ok if you can grab it for free
Not much in here other than a conglomeration of free info found all over the net. This seems to be a common problem of "how to" type books on kindle.

2.0 out of 5 stars Pretty basic stuff
An easy read. Nothing new or life changing in my opinion tho... most ideas are things I think most parents try naturally.

This book had some helpful tips in it. However, a lot of what is listed is common sense. Don't know that I would pay for it but borrowing it was ok.
