My daughter received "How Do Dinosaurs Say Goodnight?" as a gift on her 1st birthday, and instantly fell in love with it. I decided then to give another book a try, and purchased "How Do Dinosaurs Say I Love You?" and "How Do Dinosaurs Clean Their Rooms?" four months later for Christmas and again, she just fell in love with them! So today, after taking her to get a couple of shots, we headed over to Barnes and Noble to look around at books, and as soon as I saw this, I grabbed it right up because I had been WAITING for this to come out and was so pleased to see it there. Needless to say, my daughter was once again, very happy. I definitely recommend these to mom's and dad's out there because these books are very fun, (for any age, really) and they help give young ones good ideas about how to behave well. I plan on buying the rest of these books to add to her collection.

As expected the illustrations are the real winner in How Do Dinosaurs Love Their Cats? Each dino accurately and humorously expresses every child's mood and sentiment with regard to pets - from a lack of desire to treat a kitty nicely to an aversion to stinky chores to the real love and care of a cat. Jane Yolen's narration rhymes and captures those sentiments poignantly. This is a great book for the younger ones (ages 4-5) but older kiddos (ages 6-8) will relate and be amused.

Follows the same format as the new "dogs" dinosaur book, did not disappoint. Great way to remind kids how to treat animals and love them. Highly recommend.

Our 2-year-old son is, let's say, "less than gentle" with our cats, and he loves the How Do Dinosaurs... books so we thought this might help. As with all of these books, the story is very cute and teaches a good lesson. He just got it for his birthday, so we'll see if it helps. But definitely recommended, along with all of the How Do Dinosaurs... books.

I bought this book for my nephew who is beginning to become interested in dinosaurs. He also has a cat that he is still learning to properly play with. This book is perfect for him! Can't wait to give it to him. Very cute.

This book was advertised for ages 6-8. What I received was a "carboard" version, which I would consider to be for a much younger age level.

I enjoy all the "How Do Dinosaurs" books as do my sons, 3 and 5. This one is a little short and you can tell the author is stretching for rhymes... still fun though.

The first half of this books has the Dinosaurs treating his/her cat poorly. Preferring to watch television rather than cleaning the litter box or taking away the cat's toys. The second half tells the child that the dinosaurs treat their cats kindly because they love their cats.

My grandchildren love this book. We spend the first half loudly going NOOOOOO after each statement, i.e., "How does a dinosaur play with her cat? Does she throw pillows at it and act like a brat?" Then the chorus of the nana-kids comes in "NOOOOOOOO." We've had many good discussions about how to treat our animals from this book.

A fun book for the kids as well as one that can become a tool for discussion about our pets and how to treat them.

This is a great book. we love all the "dinosaur" books and this is a cute one.

My grandson is so in to books. This series holds his interest and he enjoys re-reading the books he has. I highly recommend this series to parents and grandparents
