5.0 out of 5 stars Long live Tupac, April 6, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: How Do You Want It (Audio CD)
Can't get any better! For those of you who ostracized Tupac's music and him as a person, this gets ALL IN YOUR FACE. Don't buy the CD because you are just going to be MAD.

For all of you looking for a Tupac CD that just rips, get this one - 4 tracks BLOWING $HIT UP.

5.0 out of 5 stars 2pac cant be beat, April 1, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: How Do You Want It (Audio CD)
2pac has exquisite, unmatched style that just cant be caught up to. HOW DO U WANT IT is pretty cool, CALIFORNIA LOVE has an awesome tune and chorus, 2 OF AMERICAZ MOST WANTED is an outstanding piece of work with the unique voice of Snoop Doggy Dogg, and HIT EM UP is an outburst of rage with cursing galore. Keep young ones away from that one.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Rap Single of All Time ?, July 15, 2011
This review is from: How Do You Want It (Audio CD)
If there's a better rap single on the market, I don't know of it. Every song on here is CLASSIC. This is a perfect cd for someone just getting into 2pac, as it has 3 songs released as singles from "all eyes on me", plus "Hit Em Up," which is one of 2pac's best songs. All four of these tracks are features on the greatest hits LP. There is no low-point in the cd. The version of "California Love" is the original, which is much better than the remix on All Eyes On Me. This makes a great cd for someone just getting into 2pac, someone who isn't a hardcore fan but likes his songs on the radio, or anyone just getting into 2pac. Perfect single, no filler.

4.0 out of 5 stars AND THE 4 TRACKS ARE:, January 26, 2007
This review is from: How Do U Want It (Audio CD)
How Do You Want It (f/ KC & JoJo)(LP version)

California Love (f/ Dr. Dre)(Long Radio Edit) this was the more popular version on the radio

2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted (f/ Snoop Doggy Dogg) (LP version)

Hit 'Em Up (f/Outlawz)

This cd single includes the ORIGINAL version of California Love, the one the the piano hook. The Remix appeared on the album and it's original version did not appear on it's own as a single here in the USA except for promotional copies. Gee, usually it is the remixed versions that end up as promos and not released to the general public - in a turn of the tables, it was the original version that was better and not available until it appeared on this cd single for "How Do You Want It"

5.0 out of 5 stars One of the greatest singles ever!, July 3, 2002
This review is from: How Do You Want It (Audio CD)
The "How Do You Want It" single is one of, if not, the greatest singles ever released. It is hard to find so definitely try to get this one.
It starts of with "How Do You Want It" which is a great song. Tupac and K-Ci & JoJo always sound really good together. Then comes "California Love" original version. Not the remix that appeared on all "All Eyez On Me". If you have never heard the original you need to because the remix sounds dull after hearing this. This is one of Dre's best beats as this song is simply amazing. Who knows why the original was not put on "All Eyez On Me". Even if they put both on, the original should have been on the album. Next appears "2 Of Amerikaz Most Wanted". A really good song featuring Snoop Doggy Dogg. Then comes "Hit Em' Up", Tupac's massive dis track to virtually everyone on the East Coast. This is such a catchy song, while it is equally venomous. Tupac doesn't dis with the lyrical cleverness of other rappers such as Canibus and Chino XL. But Tupac's strength is that he's not afraid to beat around the bush. He tells you exactly what he's feeling and many rappers caught a lot of heat on this song.
Really all four songs on here could have been their own single. Tupac made videos for all of them. So it is amazing to see all four of these mega hits together.
