Here's a book for beginners about learning how to draw with not one single picture. Is this a joke?
It's like learning how to drive by understanding various mechanical parts without ever seeing the car.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Pointers to Get You Started! December 23, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
How to Draw Anything for Absolute Beginners by Christmas Walker is a great book to get you started drawing if you're a beginner like me. I like how the author describes the different types of drawing from landscape, portrait etc. to start. Explaining each one first, along with tips and strategies that will help you get started with each separate type. The techniques are described in an easy to understand format that sets you up for success. If you are looking to learn how to draw quickly, this is the book for you. My only wish is that it was longer and perhaps a little more in depth. This doesn't take away from the value of this book by any means. Just let's the author know I want more - a good thing!

I recommend you give this book a read and let the author know what you've gained!

1.0 out of 5 stars not for me
There is nothing to it. Surely not for the beginner, too technical. Not enough examples to understand the. The technical rhetoric.
