Better dragon drawing books out there...,
By Sara (Western Washington) - See all my reviews
This review is from: How to Draw Dragons (Drawing Fantasy Art) (Library Binding)
Let's just say I found it lacking. I recieved it and another book on drawing dragons for my birthday, and liked the other one much better. This book is very basic (and very short). It only has a couple of drawings, and they do not break down the drawing steps very much. There's maybe three steps to a finished drawing.
I'd recommend anything by J "Neondragon" Peffer. She breaks down each step so it's easy to follow, goes into anatomy, and provides detail drawings so your limbs and such are believable. This book might be good for a beginner or for someone only casually interested in drawing, but for someone who is serious, it is very lacking. |
