Very cleverly written. Easy to follow instructions. I wish there were more activity books like this out there for the smarty pants beginning drawers.

Uglydolls are really cool, this kit is great, it's not only about drawing in some ways, and yes drawing Uglys can be hard!

I bought this book for my nephew who hates the way he draws. He looks at older artists and makes comments about how ugly his drawings are compared to theirs. I told him that those flaws are also appreciated, and that many people draw in odd styles but he didn't believe me (you know how it is talking to an 11 year old - you gotta prove everything to them). So this book was perfect for him! Its simple, cute, and made us all smile with each story. He loves it!

I got my daughter an Ugly Doll for her birthday and also got her this book to go with it. She likes to doodle and draw, and she has been enjoying this book. It gives step by step instructions on how to draw some of the popular Ugly Dolls. It also seems to spark creativity for kids to make up their own characters.

My now 9year old daughter began collecting Ugly's a few years ago. This book, along with everything Ugly did not disappoint. All of the merchandise is made well, and the books help her sort through the Ugly Universe. If you have a budding collector or even just for some fun reading, this book is great.

I was pretty disappointed by this book--it is shown as more of a how-to book to make ugly dolls. In fact, it is a child's book, much like a coloring book or magazine.
