Good Resource for Filing on Your Own,
By A Customer
This review is from: How to File for Divorce in Pennsylvania: With Forms (Self-Help Law Kit With Forms) (Paperback)
This book provides the "nuts and bolts" of filing for divorce without a lawyer. The information was straight-forward and accurate. Although the forms are provided along with the book, it is important to check filing requirements in your county to avoid delays. After purchasing the book, I still opted to go through a lawyer to file for divorce for convenience. The book prepared me for an informed discussion with my lawyer and I was able to tell him exactly what services I wanted him to provide. Also, seeing a copy of the forms in advance allowed me to prepare my spouse for the paper work that would be coming. Some of the "legal-ese" looks a little harsh. Because I had seen the forms, I was able to explain that these are standard forms and the statement "you are being sued in court" on the form were not words of my choosing.

I am sure this would help those that have lived here for a while, but if you just moved here, it is useless. Good luck
