He is one of a kind & this books shares what drives him.

This book captures a solid and unique blend of how everything we do is related, both professionally and personally. Also, it conveys the importance of always keeping in mind and living by the basic values that are important in life, no matter what the situation. That's the essence of being true to oneself.

I would honestly consider this book to be more of a resource and reference for personal and professional use, rather than a "read it once and put it on the shelf."

I have known John for over 10 years, this book "is" John. His style of writing takes common sense success strategies and personalizes them... first with his story, then with ideas to help you apply them in your life. Read it at one sitting. Then, re-read one chapter a day, and in just over a month you will be on a better defined path to success. For these strategies to become habits, re-read a chapter a week, complete the questions and apply the strategies. These are life-long strategies that need to be revisited regularly.

I just finished reading John Crnokrak's book. It's everything readers have been saying and more.

The reference to John's life experiences and the relationship to how he conducts his business life are illuminating. Furthermore, I especially like the quotes in large print at the top of the pages. They remind me of note cards - so important in jogging one's memory. I'm telling all my friends about it! Thank you John, for writing this wonderful book.

This is a "must have book" for anyone who desires to succeed both professionally and personally. At 110 pages, it is an easy read book that proves quality, not quantity makes a great book. The book is written in a down to earth, clear style in which you feel the auther is speaking directly to you. We use the book extensively in training our buisness managers and sales people. The more a person understands the principles set forth in the book and lives them - the more successful they will be.

On March 28, 2005, I was finding that the work environment had become "bumpy." I knew I needed motivation if I was going to influence those that work with me and for me to finish the tax season. Knowing that it is impossible for a leader to give someone something they don't have, I set off for Borders Bookstore and headed for the business section. I had a list of titles that had been recommended to me and was hoping that one of these books would "prime the pump" of motivation. As I was perusing the shelves, I saw the book "How to First, Daring, and Different."

The title was intriguing and quite honestly, the reason that I picked the book up. I completed my shopping and went to lose myself in one of my purchases. I chose John Crnokrak's book, How to be First Daring and Different" as I liked the format and thought it would be an easy read.

My easy read became an evening of motivation, excitement and quite honestly, I was jazzed. I read the entire book in one setting and I then grabbed the highlighters to make more notes. Then the next day, I purchased five copies of the book and shared with friends

This book is a rare find and should be mandatory reading for anyone who is seeking to make a difference in their work place! Thank you for the motivation that many of us need!

We use the advice and short life excerpts provided by John Crnokrak sir-no-crack) every week in our trainings. They provide an excellent way to focus our energies and inspire wonderful interaction between co-workers. We've seen great changes in customer service. It's an easy read, only two pages a day, and provides our company with positive development and better communication skills all around. We're also going to ask the author to come and do training at our company - he's so inspiring!
