This review is from: How the Frog Got His BREE-DUP (Paperback)
I received this book as a gift for my son. As it turns out, I was also working with a little boy with Selective Mutism, a condition where the child can speak, but won't in certain settings due to anxiety. We used this book as part of his treatment - we read it together, and he borrowed it for school where his teacher read it to the class. It had a great message about using your voice in a positive way, and was silly enough to really engage a 4 year old. Now that he is speaking in all situations, I will be giving him his own copy to congratulate him on his hard work!

This review is from: How the Frog Got His BREE-DUP (Paperback)
Written by Edward Allan Faine and illustrated by Jim Hunt, How The Frog Got His BREE-DUP! is a humorous, enjoyable, and highly affordable picturebook for young readers, presenting a vividly presented tall tale about how the frog earned his characteristic BREE-DUP! call. A simple, enjoyable story How The Frog Got His BEE-DUP! is especially recommended for children age 2-8. Also highly recommended from IM Press is The Balloon Galloon (0965465187, [price]) written by Edward Allan Faine and illustrated by Joan C. Waites.
