3.0 out of 5 stars Pretty good book, some useful information., March 6, 1998

This review is from: How to Get Clients (Paperback)
Don't expect this book to give you agressive solutions like the other Jeff Slutsky books. It seems to be intended for corporate sales & market people. It contains basic information about public relations, sales meetings, and presentations. Also contains some advertising advice. Not much to sink your teeth into, but an okay book for the price. Just don't look here for inspiration, or anything earth-shaking. Try the author's "Streetfighter Marketing" series instead and you'll be much more impressed.

5.0 out of 5 stars The "Streetfigher Marketing" guru does it again!, August 19, 1999

This review is from: How to Get Clients (Paperback)
At first I "skip-read" this book, but had to go back and read it word-for-word. If your business must have clients to be successful, you cannot pass up the opportunity to learn all the secrets that Jeff shares in this book. It's the COMPLETE guide to turning customers into clients. Happy Networking! - Larry James, author

The cover sucks, the title is bland and the author's name is odd. But in my opinion, this is the best book ever written about client and customer acquisition for a small business owner, bar none.
