Excellent easy to understand for the "new" diabetic.,

I found the book to be very informative and easy to understand. It included the latest DCCT test results as well as the basic information I needed to keep myself healthy. It motivated me to ask my doctor the right questions and also to lose weight (35 lbs. so far). 90% of this disease is in your control! Don't expect the doctor, nurses etc. to take the responsibility. They will take you more seriously if you take the iniitiative to read this book and learn your options. There are many!
