By A Customer
My teacher made us read this book. Without it, I would have been lost. With it - I have decided to become a philosophy major. Several professors at CAL have recommended it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Title should be "How to get the most out of College", January 12, 2007
I bought the book because I saw it was written by the same author as my textbook for intro to philosophy class. It's great! Almost all the advice in the book can be more broadly applied to any academic activity. Chapters on reading, writing are especially useful to students of history, english, sociology as well as philosophy. Highly recommended!!!
