Exiting book with a humurous ending,
By
This review is from: How I Got My Shrunken Head (Goosebumps, No 39) (Paperback)
Yes, another great book from R.L. Stine.I have always loved his books and this one is no exeption.I have like 30 Goosebumps books and this one really got my attention. Its about this boy named Mark and the day he gets a shrunken head from his Aunt Benna from the jungle island Baladora. Its really gross, and totally awesome.Little does Mark know that it contains an amazing and very dangerous power wich is about to get him into major trouble. And this book also has funny ending.Thanx for reading my review.Signed, a werewolf from the moon

How I Got My Shrunken Head,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: How I Got My Shrunken Head (Goosebumps Series) (Paperback)
Someone would want to read this book because it is adventurous and suspenseful. The summary is not very revealing, making you want to read it. If you're a person that likes getting scared, then this is the book for you.The suspense always keeps you at the edge of your seat. The shrunken head puts it all together. The central problem in the book is that Aunt Benna sends Mark a shrunken head that starts to glow. Then when Mark goes to the island,he finds out that the other explorers want to kill Aunt Benna and him. Mark has to find a way to save Aunt Benna and get off the island.

A Kid's Review
This review is from: How I Got My Shrunken Head (Goosebumps, No 39) (Paperback)
This book was GREAT! It had the perfect plot. Everything was great. It's about this boy named Mark who gets this shrunken head from his Aunt Benna. Ever since Mark got it, he LOVED it. It was so special to him, he wouldn't let anybody even touch it. But then, one night, the head starts to glow because that's no ordinary head....

Goosebumps - Review,
This review is from: How I Got My Shrunken Head (Goosebumps, No 39) (Paperback)
This book is adventurous, scary and funny, with good characters and well thought out indeas. The main character, Mark has to explore a large jungle in Baladora to find his aunt Benna. Which gives him a lot of obstacles to overcome, like picking off giant red ants, swatting mosquitoes, running from a fierce tiger and finding out mysterious secrets in the dead of the night. Also with this happening there's humours jokes and hilarious antics. Only to save a story of magic and shrunken heads! From evil people trying to take over the jungle and will shrink your heads if standing in their way.If you've read a Goosebumps book before, read this one. Your missing out on some of R.L Stine's best work, but remember, reader beware your in for a scare!

The Head Review,
By A Customer
This review is from: How I Got My Shrunken Head (Goosebumps, No 39) (Paperback)
This book was really exciting.I like how there really into video games because i like them too. Then a lady comes to the door. She was a friend of his aunts. She had something for him, a shrunken head, that was cool. The next thing you know he see's it glowing. That's pretty freaky. Then he get's invited to come visit his aunt. His aunt's name is aunt Benna. he flies to the jungle. I like on page 71 he is sinking into sand just like in his video games, if they sunk into sand they lost. Anyway, he goes in the jungle and to a lab. There are many people there. They all work there. First there nice but then they get a little strange. then he finds out he has powers. The shrunken gives him these powers. It is scary in the most of the book. In one scene he thinks he hears his aunt right behind him but I won't tell you. I think I've told you enough of this book. If someone asked if I could rate this book one through ten I would give it a eight.

How I Got My Shrunken Head By R.L. Stine/Book ReviewThis book is a really awesome but awkward book. The genera is a mystery/horror. This book is about a boy named Mark who was upset that his friends wouldn't play with him. Until he got a package from his aunt. She gave him a shrunken head that was ghost like. The head was small and wrinkly and old. But personally I would want you to read this book because who doesn't want to read about a ghost like shrunken head. This is maybe one of the best books in the R.L. Stine series. But, the book seems to get a little boring at the half way mark. But does Mark die, live or go on a vacation only you can find out if you read this book.

Shrunken story,
By Skilpadde "Zombie" (Norway) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Classic Goosebumps #10: How I Got My Shrunken Head (Mass Market Paperback)
Mark's aunt works in the Asian jungle. One day a woman appears at their door, and says she's a friend of his aunt. She has come to bring him to his aunt. When Mark arrives, his aunt has gone missing and he's told that he has jungle magic and must use it to find her. But he has no powers? And what's going on there, anyway. This story didn't captivate me one bit. The plot was idiotic. Not what the Goosebumps is about.
