A Simple, but Pleasingly Different Story,
By Paul Martin (Waukesha, WI USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: How the Guinea Fowl Got Her Spots: A Sawahili Tale of Friendship (Carolrhoda Picture Books) (Hardcover)
Based on an East African folktale, this has many of the elements of a good childrens story. Good illustrations, unique and captivating story, and brief enough to keep a child's attention and interest throughout the book.3-8 year-olds should well enjoy this story.

This book was just the one we were looking for, it helps to further illustrate our classroom visits with guinea fowl.
