Editorial Reviews

From the Back Cover

Prayer. To many it’s a last resort—a safety net when life is crashing down around them.

But that isn’t what prayer was designed to be. God designed it to be a unique and intimate way to converse with Him.

With short reflections, scripture verses, and guiding prayers, Don Aycock helps believers of all ages learn more about prayer. Full of quotes and practical advice, How to Have a Conversation with God is the perfect companion to prayer.

How to Have a Conversation with God is a compelling and practical call to prayer. Don Aycock provides biblical incentives and meaningful encouragement to all who desire to know God intimately. Read this book and begin developing your talk and walk with God.”

This review is from: How to Have a Conversation with God: Prayer That Draws Us Closer to the Father (Paperback)
This book is an excellent resource for anyone looking to begin or enrich a daily prayer life ritual. Don Aycock provides reflection on the invitation to prayer, the reason for prayer and the thinking behind some common prayers, such as the Lord's Prayer. The book provides some helpful beginning points for prayer reflection. It is written in an easy to read format and contains beautiful photographic images. A great little resource that will fit easily in a pocket, briefcase or purse and offer much inspiration.
