I got this book for my boyfriend recently after seeing it advertised elsewhere online. For this to be an impartial review, I'll provide what I liked and what I disliked about it. First, what I disliked about it:
- The length. This book, though packed with information, left my boyfriend and me hungry for more.
- The price. "How to Be Her Best Lover Ever" isn't exactly cheap.

Now, those are two very big dislikes, but as you see, I gave it 5 stars. That's because of what I liked about this book:
- The Mindset Method and techniques that it taught my boyfriend. Sex with him now is AMAZING.
- My boyfriend's sex drive has gone through the roof.
- He has become great at oral sex.
- I enjoy performing oral sex on him now, thanks to the male taste-improvement tips (to put it delicately) that this book is filled with.

I'm a voracious reader of "how to" books, and there have only been a few guides that have truly had a profoundly positive effect on me. And this book is one of them. It's an obscure book by an author who's not well-known, but it's truly one of the best kept secrets out there, and definitely more than worth the price.

I bought this book after getting John's dating book "How to Become an Alpha Male," and I've got to say that I was extremely impressed. What makes a book good, in my opinion, is when it's not just a bunch of repackaged material that you can find in other books. John breaks a lot of new ground in this book.

First and foremost, his Mindset Method is absolutely groundbreaking. Every other sex book has you memorizing gobs of material about how to manipulate the woman's mind, but this is the first book that explains that the key to good sex for your woman is to have YOUR OWN mind straight. The only other book I've ever found that touches on this concept is "How to Make Love All Night" by Barbara Keesling. But "How to Be Her Best Lover Ever" addresses it explicitly--and expands on it, thoroughly explaining it in simple, easy to understand language. Once you get your mind right, it makes your woman have the best sex of her life with you.

And then the chapter on boosting your testosterone through your diet and living habits was pure gold. I've seen tips here and there on how to boost "the miracle hormone" as John calls it, but this book has a massive, complete compilation of how exactly to boost your testosterone naturally, and thus have a higher sex drive.

Another chapter which -- believe me -- was worth way more than the cost of this book were the sections on "How to Receive Oral" and "How to Get Her to Swallow." I know Amazon's a PG-rated site, so I'll just say this: I am a very happy man right now.

The marketing for this book claims that the chief benefit you'll derive from it will be increased amounts of sex from your wife or girlfriend. I can verify firsthand that this is definitely true.

Though this book is slim -- only 140 pages -- I found it to be jam-packed with so much information that it's worth more than any 10 other sex books put together.

Okay, I rarely give 1-star reviews, but I'd give this one zero stars if I could. I've read a handful of books in this genre, mainly because I believe you can never know everything about anything.

I've read Alexander's other book, "How to Become an Alpha Male." That one is actually a pretty good book. Still a bit overpriced, but a good book. In that book, he kinda reiterates what several other books have to say on the subject, but trims some of the fat off and makes it easier to understand.

It would appear that he tried to take the same approach with this book, but it ends up being a tiny pamphlet that only the lamest dork in the universe could possibly glean any new information from. It's got absolutely nothing new in it. It tells you how to kiss, have sex, what to eat, etc.

I read it in about 30 minutes (yeah, it might be "136" pages but the font is giant and there's a ton of whitespace). The bottom line is, this book is worth a few bucks--if you found it in dumpster, I'd say you got a good deal--not the outrageous $39.98 he's asking for it. I think the other reviews have got to be fake or something, too. This is ridiculous. Please, save your money, buy a real book on the subject. This one is a glorified pamphlet.

Be a strong man with a strong sexual desire and masculine energy. You're the man and you should be active not passive. However, she doesn't want you to hurt her, just not be a wet noodle (no pun intended). You need to calibrate based on the woman's mood, so start out light and go slowly then you increase the intensity (and pull back) while constantly being in tune with how she reacts. At certain times she'll go crazy over slight feather touches, and at other times she'll want you to do it harder.

This book will teach you all these things, as well as how to achieve them. For example, certain workouts, exercises, and dietary changes can boost your sex drive so that you can have sex with your girlfriend or wife several times in a night. (Thanks to this book I went from only being able to do it about once per day to now my girlfriend and I do it 3 to 5 times a day.) Anyway though, I think the biggest lesson from this book is be your (ideal) self. As a man, you have a highly sexual beast in you, but you also have a soft, sensual side. Tap into both, and your woman will love you forever, and the two of you will reach the highest pleasures over and over again.

I can safely say that any positive comment directed towards this book is 100% true. This, in my opinion, is the best sex guide for men out there. While every other book on the subject is focused on techniques, this one moves you to tap your inner primal man, and seize the pleasure you desire. That then takes all the pressure off the woman. No pressure to think things like "oh my God I need to feel good, I need to orgasm" means that, ironically, she WILL feel pleasure and orgasm! My girlfriend and I have a wonderful sex life now. Getting this book is the no-brainer of all no-brainers.

There's so much hostility and negative energy from that other reviewer that it makes me wonder if he read the same book I did. John Alexander wrote a great book and I learned loads. He provides detailed directions on what to say, what to do, and what to think when your having sex. He also says what to eat and do to have higher testosterone/sex drive and be the guy who gets what he wants. Also I used to hate giving oral but now thanks to the instructions laid out on how to enjoy the taste and like magic it worked and I'm loving it now. So's my wife. I am having a lot more sex because of this book.

What i like about this author is definitely his style. There is no fluff talk and only useful information. Im tired of books about sex or relationships and self-improvement, that they are all full of fluff talk and they same the same and the same topic over and over again. Or they say general things that really gets me angry. Here at last we have specific poionts and really what you have to do exactly in this topic : the sex . It has a lot of information despite its length that you wont find anywhere and it actually works. The woman will go crazy. Moreover its not full of garbage knowledge like the 365 sex positions and how to do it. Here we have realistic things and topics about: How to do sex with your mouth - how to do sex with your penis - thisg to improve your sex drive and the exactly conditons steb by steb on how to do it. It is definitely my only and best book in this subject. 5 STARS - AMAZING

I really enjoyed the book,he really hit on key point on the health side especially with testorone.
It also got straight to the point, it was not to long or to short it was really worth the money. I just wish I could have purchased it on my kindle,for the convieance.

I see both 5-star and 1-star reviews here, nothing in between-although it's interesting that with a lot of the 1-stars this is their one and only review. John Alexander must have a lot of enemies lol.

Anyway I'm one of the 5-star folks simply because this book made me better in bed, which is why I bought it. It doesn't matter to me that the language is controversial.

Great as a refresher and to fill in the gaps. Ever guy should get a copy to learn a thing or two. Reminded me of how I used to do things too.
