This book is a dream for the new knitter or the knitter who wants to inspire children to knit. I found it just as I was teaching my ten year old to knit and we both got very excited at the simple projects you could do with just a knit and purl stitch. The book is big and the pictures are bright and beautiful. Recommended for children and adults who are beginning to knit and want quick success.

I thought this book was pretty easy to understand. It also has a variety of projects that you would actually want to make (no dish clothes that my Mom wouldn't use anyway). However, I had trouble making the knitted flowers on page 52. The number of stitches they say you should have just doesn't add up. I checked out YouTube and I'm doing the yarn over right, so I'm not sure what the problem is??? Kind of frustrating because I really wanted to make the flowers too. Overall, it's a good book with lots of helpful pictures and illustrations.

After borrowing this book from our local library, I really wanted to buy it for my granddaughter. It has very cute knitting projects like a heart pillow that are very fun for beginning knitters and children to make once they accomplish wash cloths and scarves. There are colorful pictures of each project and easy instructions to follow. She loves it.

I bought this book less than a week ago. I am not really happy with it. The pictures are nice but hard to follow. I am a novice in knitting. THIS BOOK is NOT FOR a Novice. Beginner. How would a person know what to buy or when to start. This just makes it harder to understand. For the price of this book its not worth it. My feeling is if you have this you need somebody to be with you to teach. From 1 being the worst 10 being the best I give it 6.
