A very good read. A thorough analysis of Soul Travel.,
By A Customer
This review is from: How I Learned Soul Travel the True Exp (Paperback)
Complete, and documents the struggles and difficulties that one faces when reaching for higher levels of consciousness. It would seem that Mr. Wilson makes Soul Travel harder than it really is, but then, each person's experience is different. Just the same, I have never known anyone that had to work so hard to experience Soul Travel. Recommended reading for those interested in Eckankar, members of Eckankar, or those who are interested in experiencing themselves as Soul: Immortal, eternal, and indestructable

The proof of Soul Travel lies in one's own experience!,

This review is from: How I Learned Soul Travel: The True Experiences of a Student in Eckankar, the Ancient Science of Soul Travel (Paperback)
More than 30 years ago, I tried to practice "astral travel". I had some limited successes which proved to me that I, Soul, is the real-self. Then, early 70's, I found out about Eckankar and their teachings of Soul Travel as a way to link-up with the Sound Current, and the inner worlds. That's exactly what I was looking for! I learned about Soul Travel by myself, and again, I had some personal experiences which, without any doubts, proved to me that Soul Travel is a reality!I learned Soul Travel with ECK Masters, so did Terrill Wilson through his own methods. Each person is unique. Wilson gives just the tip of the iceberg... the best is yet to come for those who have the discipline and courage to go through the practices it requires. But mostly, Soul Travel, is about only one thing: to learn about love.

What I liked about this book is the author's account of learning how to astral project. The trials and tribulations, his frustrations and almost child-like approach to it. Kind of like me! He is brutally honest at times which is refreshing.Three stars...not a lot of meat, but some really good tidbits hear and there to make it worth the read. Hope this helps.

Realistic Approach,

This book documents many wondrous journeys throughout the unseen and you truly get an idea of what it is like to not merely dream but to have an active life during your sleep state which can also provide valuable lessons. The experiences listed in these pages can be and has been had by many. This is one of the most realistic approaches to out of the body travel that I have ever read. This book is one that most people will be readily able to relate to.What I appreciate most about this book is that it follows the real life struggle of someone who stumbled upon the wonders of the esoteric and decides to try it out for himself in spite of the unknown. Terrill's story is one that depicts the internal struggle we all have when encountering a new path that is vastly different from everything we've ever been taught or rather what is considered the "norm". I read this book long ago and it helped to strengthen my resolve regarding out of the body travels and most things surrounding it. I applaud the author for sharing his experiences, successes, and failures with us. This book is inspirational to say the least. |
