A Wonderful Time!,

This review is from: How the Leopard Got His Spots (Rabbit Ears Storybook Classics) (Hardcover)
Danny Glover reads this, and I enjoyed it as much (maybe more) than my daughter. This book and "How the Rhinoceros Got His Skin" sold us on Rabbit Ears audiobooks - we now have about a dozen. Get the full size so the child can follow the text easier and you can both enjoy the illustrations.

Keep this one on your bookshelf, O Best Beloved. It is the entire original story of "How the Leopard" in all its Rudyard Kipling language. It just melts in your mouth as you read it. The Ethiopian likes to use long words, because he is a Grown Up.
The illustrations are interesting and full of movement and dappled shade. This book is a keeper. Excellent, original illustrations by Lori Lohstoeter.
