This has to be one of the best books I have ever read. There are so many problems that come up in life and for the first time in my life (age 72 with my birthday being today..09-09-09) I had answers to things I should have done in the past but most importantly, things to do in the future.
I know for a fact that through prayer and waiting, all things work out for good according to God's plans. I have had times when I wondered why God would let this or that happen but in the end found out it has made me a much better, stronger, and prayerful person. I now put problems or questions in God's hands and wait for answers. He never fails.
I have read this book no less than 10 times and when I need a little guidence I pick it up again and read special paragraphs.

I can't say enough good things about this book. As alot of people, I've been anxious about the many things going on (election, economy, etc.). The book is a great reminder about how loving and faithful our God is. It was just the reminders I needed!

Charles Stanley has given us important answers to mankind's worst problems. How to give our real problems to God so we can live in a world where there are no clear answers to the confusion generated by "experts". He writes in clear, concise and plain language. With God there is no ambiguity, no confusion-just simple ways to live correctly and let God show us how.

Before I read this book, I was hesitant if it would be a good read. This is because the title seems too good to be true. Although I have loved every book that I read so far by Charles Stanley, I wasn't sure if this one would become another favorite.

I have to say that with each chapter, it was like having a breath of fresh air. It doesn't just say "dump all your problems on God", it talks about emotions and how to deal with them. There are many refreshing scriptures noted that go hand in hand with different emotions.

I have been having a tough time lately with depression due to some health conditions. This book has helped lift my spirits. It has opened my eyes again in realizing just how wonderful God is. Throughout our daily lives, we all have trials that burden us. We may feel like we are so heavy hearted and so consumed with our trials that we forget to turn to God. All along God was always with us, but we were too focused on our problems to remember that.

Many of us want to know what God's will is for our lives. We search and ponder. This book sets the path straight. It helps you prioritize in a Biblical way and that is exactly God's will.

This is the type of book you can read over and over and get a new insight each time you read it. I would recommend it to anyone who needs help with Life's Trials, and don't we all.

I absolutely love Charles Stanley, and love this book. I've been going through a lot of heartache, and this book was everything to get me focused back on the Lord and what He is doing in my life.

I am currently facing the hardest time in my life thus far. God has been so faithful in the midst of this very dark time. I have poured myself into His word and also into many books that might offer insight and direction. My heart has been gripped with fear which I know is never God's plan for me. This book helped me SO much and was an incredible source of encouragement! If your looking to grow and and walk with confidence in the Lord in the midst of your struggles this book is for you!

Excellent analysis of how God is continuously at work to bring us toward him. Thank you Dr Stanley for explaining all those facts about God.

You will find yourself many times while reading, and you thought it was only you. The counsel will set you in motion for moving on, seeing a bigger picture. Have used this little volume to speak to people in crisis in my christian counseling ministry. Written in easwy to understand language. You can read just a paragraph, skip around, put down and come back later.
