I have always enjoyed reading biographies, mainly to learn from the mistakes of others and to see things from a different perspective. I have read the classic auto-biography of Benjamin Franklin and have gained much insights into what makes a person successful. While definition of success varies from person to person, Rich's success is exactly the kind of success that I am looking for: integrity, faith in God, humility, love for others, and leaving behind a lasting legacy. After reading this book, my response was, "What more do you want out of life?". For those who share the same ideals, reading this book will inspire you to believe that it is possible to live a life of integrity and be successful in this life and the life to come. I have always been looking for someone worthy to emulate and Rich Devos ranks among the top 3 in my list. This book is highly recommended as it inspires me daily to think and act consistently with my beliefs.
I particularly appreciate the format of the book: The author helps the reader to distill and apply the lessons from the life of this great man at the end of each chapter. A worthy investment of your time...Go get it!

Rich DeVos is quite an inspirational figure. Any book that can encapsulate his experiences and characterisitcs is a must read. The life lessons that can be taken from this book will prove to be invaluable throughout life. If more of us lived similar to Mr. DeVos, our society would truly be morally wealthy. Not to mention, the picture on the cover is easy on the eyes if I do say so myself.

I've never been a part of Amway or have met Mr. DeVos but I've heard nothing but great things about him from those who worked closely with him. They took a concept which was somewhat controversial and inspired millions of individuals worldwide to pursue their dreams. More power the anyone affiliated wi Amway. Keep selling the dream and making a difference.

I was curious about him. This book gave several views about his personality not only from friends but also his employee or driver. The more I know about him, the more I respect him.

We all know that it is impossible to be famous, rich, and (very importantly) be loved by others, if you don't empower them in a positive way and add value to their lives. Mr. DeVos has absolutely added value to many people and has impacted millions in a very positive way. Considered by thousands as one of the most important business icons of our century, Mr. Devos not only has achieved the American dream and has made it possible for many many more people who have followed him, but has been considered by the US Government as one of the most respected business minds in America, representing the US internationally. If you are in Direct Sales this book may be for you!!

Rich DeVos is a leader by example to all who know him. We have much to learn from such a fine person as him in doing business with integrity in an upset down world as ours is today. Buy it, read it and apply the principles outlined by Rich DeVos in conducting your business and personal life.

I had heard good things about Mr. Rich DeVos from other people. So I wanted to learn more about him. I downloaded his audios and videos from the internet and saw him in action. I also read 2 of the books that Rich DeVos has authored - "Hope From My Heart" and "Ten Powerful Phrases for Positive People". I loved the writings, the videos and the audios. So I decided to study him further because this book was a reflection of other people about Mr Rich DeVos and how their lives were enriched. I have developed love and respect for this finest human being. Thanks to Pat Williams for writing this book. The edition will need continuous revisions because every single day there are more and more people whose lives are being enriched by Mr. Rich DeVos. May God Bless You!

After reading through this book I fully understand the great company he co-founded back in the 1959. A leader to follow and to imitate. Compassionate Capitalism, he is the creator in truth. I can't find the right words to express the deep feelings felt during the reading of such masterpiece. Thank you Rich.

This is a very interesting analysis of the style and substance of a most remarkable human being. I have met Rich DeVos on several occasions, listened to him speak and read most of his books. To read this book helps round out my understanding of him. I only wish he was still out speaking on the political scene an on Amway.

Pat Williams has done a wonderful job of capturing the essence of Mr. DeVos!
