In addition, people are stressing about things that have already happened, that are unchangeable because they are in the past, and again, missing out on what is going on in the present moment.

Here Is A Preview Of What You'll Learn...

  • How To Clear Your Mind Of Worries And Stress
  • How To Enjoy Each And Every Moment
  • How To Increase Your Productivity With Mental Clarity
  • Strategies To Let Go Of The Past

Personally, I always catch myself thinking about the past and how much I regret some of the mistakes i've made. Regardless of the past it has allowed me to become a better person and learn from my mistakes. This type of book puts all of that in perspective and helps me continue being positive no matter what.

5.0 out of 5 stars An inspiring book that's a quick read, yet very powerful! September 15, 2013

Format:Kindle Edition
Have you ever wanted to make the most of each day? Do you find your mind perpetually drifting off on past or future circumstances or events? If so, then this book is a MUST READ!
The premise of this book is more than focusing on the present; it discusses how anyone can easily enhance the quality of their life by "being in the moment." So many beautiful, awe-inspiring things occur every new day of our lives. When a person spends too much time focusing on past or future events, they are missing out on the opportunity to live these moments. The book helps the reader to realize that in order to live a prosperous future, one needs to put most of their focus on living each new day at a time. One powerful philosophy the book preaches, is that we are not defined by our past nor our families. So many people place blame for their "unhappy lives" on their family. The truth is that everyone has the ability to define themselves and live the life they want regardless of their past. The book goes on to say that if something about your past bothers you, don't let it hinder your present. Take it as a learning experience at look at each day as a proverbial "do-over." Remember as children we would always shout "do-over!" if we were unhappy with the way we performed in a neighborhood game? Well that's the exact mindset we should have as we awake every morning. We are blessed to live in a country with civil liberties. Freedom of speech, employment, as well as equality for all ethnicities, religions and sexes are rights many other nations don't have. These rights give us the ability to easily turn around the worst of circumstances each day of our lives. Lets embrace these luxuries and grant ourselves the right to a fresh start every day.

5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely Awesome! Good for Personal healing. April 7, 2014

I picked this book up for personal reasons. I believe that everybody has some regrets in their past. Be it from a traumatic childhood experience, from a broken relationship or some other reason that hampers us from truly living in the present. So how do we let go of the past, move on and get on with our life with a much better perspective and enthusiasm?

The book delves into the reason why we are having a hard time moving on. It also give ideas on how you can harness the negative effects and convert it into something positive and through correct mindset, you'll eventually have the courage to pick yourself up and move on.

Why do I love it? Simply because after I read this book, it made me rethink about my current ways and perspectives in life. At the moment I worry too much and can't wait to fulfill my dreams for my future. I have also my own painful past, well I'm sure everyone has, and It affected me so much that it's hard to forget about it. It makes sense that in order for anyone to live in the present, one should let go of his past first and don't think too much of the future. I'm sure anyone who reads this will see what I'm talking about. We should all remember to make our present day count, make the most out of it and to treasure it, after all it is a present, a gift.
***"Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. Today is a gift. That's why it is called the present:)

More About the Author

Matt Morris is a life coach and an author. He is passionate about using events that have happened in his life to inspire and make a positive impact in the lives of others. Topics in his books include: Positivity, Living In the Present Moment, and SMART goal setting - all of which he has used to completely transform his life.

A few of his life experiences include:

- Being in a plane crash at the age of 10 that killed his mother and left him in a coma for 1 month

- Having severe back problems as a teenager and instead of having surgery (as Dr.'s recommended), he healed himself with the power of the mind and exercise

- Getting over his fear of being judged as "different" and transforming into "one of the most socially-savvy people in the room" by developing storytelling abilities and focusing on his strengths instead of his disabilities

- Losing his father at the age of 30 and being able to cope with this reality

Despite all this, Matt is known for his optimistic attitude and keen ability to find the good out of every situation, despite how traumatic the event may seem.

Throughout his books, he goes into much more detail about how he's used each of these events to improve his life and make him a stronger person. He is on a mission to change the attitudes and pre-conceived negative beliefs of the world in order to make it a better place. He firmly believes that everything happens for a reason.

In his free time, Matt loves to read books based on self-improvement, psychology, marketing, health, fitness, and traveling. He also has a goal to visit many of the natural wonders of the world, which he talks about in his book "50 places to see before you die".

Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I hope you enjoy his books!
