More About the Author

Felix Dodds was born in Derby, England. He was active in the UK Liberal Party culminating in chairing its youth wing (1985-87). His first book Into the Twenty-First Century was on the realignment of UK politics around a green agenda. He bcame Executive Director of Stakeholder Foum for a Sustainable Future in 1993 and has been involved in a number of UN Conferences adn Summits on Sustainable Development. He chaired the NGO Coalition at the UN on Sustainable Development for four years (1997-2001) and promoted the concept of stakeholder involvement as a mechanism to enhance government decesion making. He has authored a number of books on how to lobby at the UN and more recently has published on environmental security. His book Human and Enviromental Security was nominated as the best environmental book of 2006
