I generally avoid resources with titles like this because usually they're full of self-adulation and pitches for coaching and other products. But Ewen really delivers the goods on how he built a successful online business in affiliate marketing and outlines how others can do it too. Its straight forward and step-by-step in identifying a market, getting online, getting web traffic, and setting up systems.

If you're already making a good income with affiliate marketing, you may not learn anything new from this book. But for the newcomer to making money online, its a very good guide.

Ewen Chia is a smart guy. The question is: Is this book for you?

This book is what you'd expect. It's very similar to other books released in this genre. Info is ok, but you walk away feeling it's more of a tool for the author to find new customers than anything else.

The book talks about "mindset," which is important. Ewen's story is interesting. To me, this was the best part of the book and worth the price. If you're looking for a complete, step-by-step blueprint to millions online though, you won't find it here.

The book is divided into roughly six sections:

- Ewen's story
- basics of online marketing
- tools you'll need
- picking your market
- getting traffic
- your offer

In my opinion, the content is too advanced for newbies, yet too basic for those who have been at this for a while. Both will probably get something out of it, but newbies looking for a plan and others looking to get a sneak peak at how Ewen really makes his money will both walk away unsatisfied. There are a lot of missing pieces, even though the book is over 350 pages.

There is some good stuff here, if you can read between the lines. The book is worth the price.

If you're brand new, and can only afford one book, you're much better off with something like Quit Your Job (and Never Go Back) - How to Create, Start, & Market an Online Business for Under $500 in 30 Days or Less, which is specifically for people who are just getting started and want to get online quickly. It doesn't promise as much, but you can't deposit promises in the bank. Real money is what you're after here, not promises.

Ewen Chia offers realness and real help! This book mentions links to tons of traffic sources and business resources, plus step by step instructions on what to do and why to do it. I've only had the book for less than a week and I've already applied several of his techniques for gaining more traffic, setting up better sites, autoresponder forms with the wording he advises, and thank-you pages and what to put on them. I'm seeing more traffic in just the last few days AND a sale that I definitely would not have had without his book! Plus several more subscribers to my autoresponders!

How often does it happen that you buy a book on making money and it is filled with empty hype? The answer would of course be all the time.

The exception is Ewen Chia's book and the reason is simple. You actually learn real skills that can be applied in real life.

Often "wealth building secrets" books are fluffy and conceptual. You get a lot of chatter about keeping a positive attitude and focusing on your goals, which is nice I guess, but you're still left to wonder "How do I do this?"

Before I got Ewen Chia's book I had done a little bit of buying and selling on eBay. However, from only reading a little bit of the book plus some of Ewen Chia's thank you's I have learned the following things:

*Where to get great FREE software for producing web content.
*How to create banners and graphics cheaply or even FREE.
*Blogging secrets to create profits.
*How to build a customer base without buying lists or spamming.
*Free web page building software that even a newbie can learn FAST.
*What is this affiliate stuff and how does it work - it's eazy.
*Adding audio to your pages - it's so darn easy.
*Adding video to your pages - it's so darn easy (except in y360).
*How to edit templates to save time - too darn simple.

and I haven't even finished the info, it's amazing how much you learn.

I am a "newbie". I have been marketing on the internet now for a whopping 2 months.

There are a couple of issues I have with most internet marketing guides. They are either too technical for a neophyte, or they promise unreasonable returns for the effort.

This book does not suffer from either of those problems. It is straight-forward, concise and relatively easy to implement. I have already begun using some of the strategies and look forward to seeing the fruit of my labor.

If you are looking for a realistic guide to help you break through the clutter that is cyberspace, this book is for you.

This book is the truth! I've read many books on how to start and implement an online business, but this is the best, hands down. Not only does Ewen lay out the foundation in a concise and easy to understand way, but he also inspires and encourages at the same time. He knows exactly what I've been going through and he tells me how to overcome the obstacles. A couple of times I felt like he was peeking in on my life. My opinion? Purchase this book and devour it. Study it. And then, implement it. It will change your life.

I have read tons of books about internet marketing and how to start online businesses. I find his book to be the most important because so many other ones fill their pages with fluff like how to down load this file or screen shots of how to set up a google adwords account...they don't tell you any specifics about once you have these tools set up and that is why Ewen's book rocks.

I especially like his easy traffic section in chapter 8. It is so worth it's weight. I started my website through a online business guide but, like any guide, there were holes that needed to be filled in the how to market your web page SUCCESSFULLY...Most guides make it seem so easy. Nothing is easy online. Marketing trends change and you have to keep up with the tide of the day. Ewen gives you some tools to really boost your knowledge in this area.

If you like his book he also recommends Blog Inferno, I do to. Blogging for Marketing is a fun and creative way to getting your web site and products out there. Go to [...] to check it out. It has really helped me succeed.

The first thing I want to point out is that at 354 pages, this book is chock full of useful and inspiring information.

I have been marketing online for 12+ years and I still gleaned a whole bunch of useful information from Ewen's book.

I have bought most of the internet marketing books available on Amazon.com. A lot of them are based on theory and are very dry and boring to read.

On the flipside, Ewen's new book lets you take a sneak peek behind the curtain and learn about Ewen's past and how he became successful online. This personal approach is both inspiring and makes for great, easy reading.

New and experienced marketers will all learn something from Ewen's new book. Does the free video series have upsells? Sure does. Are there cross sells? There sure are. What else would you expect from such a seasoned marketer?

The difference here is, the upsells are jam-packed with great content, and products and information to help you hit the ground running if you need that boost to get your own online business going.

Ewen takes you step by step through all the tools you'll need to run your business online, as well as how to pick a market, how to develop products and offers for your market, and how to drive traffic to your offer.

Please don't get me wrong folks, this is all basic, fundamental internet marketing principles. However, learning them from such a seasoned marketer with such a distinguished track record will give you the confidence in knowing your time spent growing your online business is focused on the right activities to ensure your success.

I checked out and read this book from the San Antonio Public Library before ordering. So, I knew that the contents were valuable before ordering.

The book explains what hundreds of online E-books fail to mention; i.e., a systematic and thorough method for building an online business.

I purchased the book because I intend to apply the steps...and it will take months. This is longer than I can keep the book checked out from the library. But, this shows that the content of the book is inclusive and thorough. What I need to do...all in one place.

If you are patient and follow the instructions of this book, you can build an online business, too.

The title sounded like this book would be an all hype sales pitch you might find on a SPAM email or see on some late night infomercial ad. However, the book is VERY WELL WRITTEN and is A GREAT READ! Unlike another book (I won't even mention the title or author lest you think I'm a promoter) that was a lot shorter than this one but tried to talk about the same sort of stuff. That book was a total joke was a total waste of time and the paper it was printed on! I totally expected this book to be the same way given it's title.

While this book uses the model for how to start an affiliate-marketing business, many of the things the author covers can be applied to just about any new or current business. You can take the things that he covers and apply them to your business model.

You will still want to read other books, as the author suggests to gain further insight into the details of some of the areas he discusses. These would include things like social media sites, blogging, email marketing and others.

Overall I would recommend this book to anyone with an interest in how to start or improve your current business with a web presence. Cheers!
